HelpMySEO.com started out as my personal project. My name is David Amerland and I have been involved with the web in terms of guiding the creation of websites, organising their content and helping them be found by search engines from the original days of the web when SEO involved putting in the meta tags and see sites come up high on the Yahoo! and Ask Jeeves search engine index.

As a personal platform, mostly, I use it to share information with online visitors, promote my books and writings and, sometimes, offer it as a base for publicity for my colleagues who will put in th eodd blog post in exchange for a byline, contribute their ideas or write an article or two. Everything I put on here in terms of advice has been worked to death, tested exhaustively and then tried under different programming conditions in order to filter the effects of programming in SEO.

I believe the web is both the great equalizer and the place where ideas and opportunities abound and by helping you gain in it I am helping to create the kind of technologically-rich, enriching world I want to live in.
