The arrival of the real-time web
It used to be that news was not news until it happened on TV. There is a degree of solipsistic knowledge to this which is hard to argue against once you start to analyze the way we consider news to be news and it is the same with Google and the ‘arrival’ of anything. This is exactly what makes Google so powerful.

On being a best-selling SEO author
As I am writing this SEO Help: 20 steps to get your website to Google’s #1 page has been riding the best-seller charts at Amazon.com and Amazon.co.uk pretty much every day since it was first published. Google TV is the next logical step for Google
Back in the day when everyone thought search was easy to do and SEO was something only highly trained technicians could understand Yahoo! set themselves up to be, primarily, an entertainment company and located their HQ to be near Hollywood.

The web is changing every day
As I am writing this I am labouring under the load of corroborative research necessary for my next book and the need to create some content for my site. Although everything contained in the SEO Tips section is technical the Blog is reserved for whatever takes my fancy (pretty much) and what I am going to say comes from pretty much twenty, more or less, straight hours of writing, editing and thinking (the last is definitely questionable).
