I have often said here before that authors have a natural SEO advantage when it comes to promoting their websites, over the rest of the mere mortal online population. Alisa Miller is a relationship author and a celebrity with over 20,000 fans on her Facebook page. Her books have made her popular with many readers and, by her own admission, she has a crew optimizing her site.

Nevertheless she is, like most authors, an avid reader of books which include books on SEO. It is then with some happiness that I found out my book, SEO Help: 20 steps to get your website on Google’s #1 page is one of the books she swears by and one which she found truly useful when it comes to working on the optimization of her website.

As an author I always hope that the books I write actually do more than just fill someone’s shelf space and when it comes to finding out that they really help it gets to be very exciting. It is even more exciting because Alisa Miller is not an expert on search engine optimization. When it comes to SEO she’s just a regular webmaster with a website she needs to promote and the fact that SEO Help was of such huge help to her is more than just gratifying.
